What this policy covers
This policy applies to the bajkos.com website and to the waitlist form on it.
Bajkos is in a pre-launch phase. There are no user accounts, no purchases and no payments on this site. We do not process any data about your child, because there is nothing here to create a child profile with.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we record:
- Your email address — the only thing you actively give us.
- The interface language you were using and the page you submitted the form from.
- The referring website, if your browser sent one.
- Campaign parameters from the link you arrived through (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content), where present.
Your IP address is also processed at the moment you submit the form, so that Cloudflare can check the submission is not automated. We do not store your IP address ourselves.
Why we process it, and on what legal basis
- To tell you when Bajkos launches, to ask for your feedback and to invite you to help shape the product — on the basis of your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, given when you submit the form.
- To understand which pages and campaigns bring people to the waitlist, using the language, path, referrer and campaign parameters above — on the basis of our legitimate interest in measuring our own reach, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- To protect the form against automated abuse — on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Giving us your email address is entirely voluntary. If you choose not to, you simply will not be notified at launch; nothing else changes.
Who else processes your data
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We use the following processors, each acting only on our instructions:
- Supabase Inc. — stores the waitlist database.
- Cloudflare Inc. — hosts and delivers this website, and provides the Turnstile anti-spam check on the form.
We may also disclose data where we are legally required to do so.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Supabase and Cloudflare are established in the United States, so your data may be transferred outside the EEA. Such transfers take place on the basis of the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or another mechanism permitted by Chapter V of the GDPR.

How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you withdraw your consent, or until we decide not to launch Bajkos — whichever comes first.
If Bajkos launches and you do not become a user, we delete your waitlist record within 12 months of the launch announcement.
You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access your data and obtain a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict how we process it;
- receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew it.
To exercise any of these, write to [email protected]. Every email we send will also carry an unsubscribe link. If you believe we are handling your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
This site does not currently use analytics, advertising or profiling cookies, and we do not build a profile of you.
Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects the waitlist form against bots, processes technical information about your browser and may store what is necessary to perform that check. This is strictly necessary for the form to work.
We intend to add analytics and advertising measurement in the future. We will update this policy and ask for your consent before any such technology is switched on.
Children
This site is addressed to adults. The waitlist is for parents and carers, not for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children through it.
If you believe a child has given us their data, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on the waitlist database and anti-automation protection on the form. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date shown below. If a change is significant — for example if we begin using analytics or advertising technology — we will notify the people on the waitlist by email.
